so when is this due?
I am going to compare second-generation (east) Asian-American women (specifically Maxine Hong Kingston and Yoshiko Uchida) to determine how different cultures (asian vs. american) define social norms and behaviors, as demonstrated through their texts.

- You can look at the differences between Japanese Culture and Chinese Culture during that time period
- Highlight differences in experiences between Japanese and Chinese cultures
- Define what the word "role" means in role of women
- Pick whether the struggles are more similar or more different
